ACCOUNT DIRECTOR


You’re:
A hands-on, marketing communications Account Director who thrives on developing strong personal relationships with clients, prospects and team members. You have a passion for excellence and delivering the best possible solution to client briefs. You are an exceptional multi-tasker who is creative, organised and commercially astute.

Sixteen by Nine, a truly specialist presentation design agency that helps brands and businesses engage and inspire their audiences around the world. We create stories that turn the ordinary into the extraordinary and inspire the audience into action. We combine traditional graphic design principles with analytical precision, creative strategy, and technical innovation to challenge the industry with a best-in-class presentation solution. Since 2018, our mission has been to make everyone proud to present. We’re looking for an Account Director who wants to help us on our journey.


You’ll:
Carry out a variety of tasks using a range of skills:

Client services…

  • Work closely with the Client Services Director and Managing Director to drive long term client growth.
  • Own, lead and develop profitable client relationships on a range of exciting, well-known global brands, supporting them on business-critical projects.
  • Develop an understanding of the markets in which our clients operate to become a trusted and informed partner.
  • Build relationships with clients of all levels, offering suggestions to develop their plans and briefs to ensure the best possible outcome for all.
  • Direct and project manage jobs from conception to completion, seeking opportunities to upsell our services.
  • Lead client workshop sessions, calls and meetings.
  • Be an advocate for the client voice within the agency.

Content development…

  • Enhance client communications to ensure the copy maximises audience engagement and meets the objectives for the project.
  • Develop and write content for presentations from a range of supplied client materials and conversations.
  • Have a truly exceptional eye for detail – double spaces or misplaced apostrophes won’t get past you.

Financial management…

  • Own monthly and yearly team targets.
  • Provide accurate monthly forecasting.
  • Oversee invoicing management across team.
  • Maximise profit on projects and implement changes to our process to continually drive improvement.

Leadership…

  • Lead, inspire and develop team members, holding yearly appraisals and regular reviews, to allow their personal growth in line the business objectives.
  • Support team members in their day-to-day activities with an approachable, can-do attitude.
  • Work collaboratively with our expert creative team to deliver outstanding solutions, ensuring best practices are always adhered to.
  • Support with the recruitment process for new team members.

New business…

  • Confidently present our service offering to both existing clients and prospective clients.
  • Proactivity seek new business opportunities and nurture leads through to fruition.

You’ve:

  • Extensive experience in a marketing communications agency environment.
  • Achieved a degree, possibly in a related field.
  • A pro-active, can-do attitude and the ability to stay calm in a fast-paced environment.
  • A passion for the English language displayed through excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • A proficiency in using Microsoft applications.
  • A solid understanding of the design process and terminology.
  • The ability to work to deadlines, individually and collaboratively, with a dedication to get the job done.
